Elijah Skelton, founder of the Institute of Mental Mastery, is a Texas native with a positive outlook on life and a passion for helping others reach their full potential. Known for his determination and kind heart, Elijah has always sought opportunities to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Elijah studied psychology at the University of Texas at San Antonio and Lamar University, where he developed a deep understanding of the mind and human behavior. He later worked at the Texas Neuro Rehab Center with children experiencing psychosis, an experience that highlighted for him the importance of spreading mental health knowledge in ways that are practical, accessible, and empowering.
A lifelong advocate for health, Elijah noticed that while many people focus on fitness and nutrition, few invest in exercising their cognitive strength and mental well-being. This realization inspired him to create programs that train the mind like a muscle—helping individuals build resilience, focus, and inner strength.
Elijah’s own grit and resilience were shaped through his athletic career, where he competed in football, basketball, soccer, and track. These experiences not only strengthened his discipline but also nurtured his leadership skills, paving the way for him to mentor others in their personal growth journeys.
Today, as CEO of the Institute of Mental Mastery, Elijah is dedicated to being a stepping stone for others—a guide who helps people cultivate mental clarity, resilience, and purpose to thrive in every area of life.
